Lee is the COO and co-Founder of Certa Scientia Consulting. He has nearly two decades of experience in mental health treatment on a national scale which includes the provision of care and the development of treatment programs. Through operational and clinical experience, Lee has been able to navigate companies through multiple state licensing inspections and national accreditation. In his current role Lee aids organizations with their risk management and safety planning. Lee has lectured nationally for the last several years on a wide range of topics including incorporating values into compliance programing. Lee currently serves on the ethics subcommittee for the Residential Eating Disorder Consortium (REDC) and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wisconsin.

Michelle has over a decade of experience in executive and C-Suite performance improvement and compliance roles in the healthcare industry. As a Certified Joint Commission Professional and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, she takes a common-sense approach to compliance, utilizing Joint Commission Standards to drive continuing systematic improvement using tools that promote concrete process simplification.

We discuss topics including:

  • Conversations around competence
  • Stay with within your area of expertise
  • Back up how you are qualified as an expert
  • Don’t take on someone else’s regulations or policies
  • Lean into your values
